The Brothers Duo had a long career in the Music Business (right from the Late 50's to Mid 90's). They gave career defining songs to Big B which are still very popular. Their composed songs are still being Remixed or Sampled by Bollywood and Foreign artists alike (such is the timelessness nature of their compositions!)

Note- Popular to contrary belief..this song is Not a direct lift from the Tamil song 'Ilaya Nila' (by the Southern Maestro Ilayaraja).
Yes Kalyanji-Anandji adapted the melody of Mukhra of the Tamil song to the Mukhra of their number. But the Intro, Antras & Interludes are totally different and 100% Original. The style of this kind of Guitar Playing is Known As Flamenco. It was played on Acoustic Nylon strings Guitar.
